You may have seen the news that Arjun, our young conductor, has an offer to study music at Cambridge University and will be leaving us this year. Could you be the person to replace him in September?

Carols by Candlelight 16th December 2025

We will be singing at the St Andrew's Church carol service again this year.

Our talented conductor Arjun will be playing the role of Javert this week in Haberdashers' Adams' performance of Les Mis.

Carols by candlelight at St Andrew's Church and more carols on Sunday 22nd December at the Foxland Grange care home in Tettenhall.

Thank you to everyone who came to listen, to all our lovely singers and especially to Arjun, our fabulous young conductor and accompanist, who suggested and organised the care home event.

Christmas carol service 17th December

We will be leading the singing at the St Andrew's Church Christmas carol service in Whitmore Reans on Tuesday 17th December at 7pm. Come and join us for some traditional readings and carols!

Meet our new Musical Director: Arjun Toora

Arjun Toora is a Year 12 student at Adams Grammar School in Newport. He plays the piano, in which he achieved Grade 8 with distinction last year. He also plays cello in the Wolverhampton Symphony Orchestra, is principal cellist in the Wolverhampton Youth Orchestra and part of the trumpet section in the Youth Wind Orchestra.

Arjun has experience of singing in school choirs and musicals and played Kenickie in a school production of Grease. He also has a strong interest in composition. He says music is one of his biggest passions and he is looking forward to gaining experience in leadership and taking on greater responsibility in creating music, in addition to playing it.

We are delighted to be able to offer Arjun the opportunity to do just that, and are very excited to be working with him as our new conductor.
